Company Overview
Washington Energy Law LLP was established in 2023 by career energy lawyers. We have decades of experience representing the interests of municipally- and cooperatively-owned electric systems, municipal power agencies, and state utility commissions, involving nearly every facet of the electric utility industry. We are experienced practitioners before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, other federal and state agencies, and U.S. courts. We help our clients navigate the complex regulatory and business landscapes governing power supply arrangements, generator interconnection processes and agreements, project developments, transmission arrangements, wholesale energy markets, and related matters. Guided by our clients' business philosophies and objectives, we work to achieve practical and workable solutions, and to provide advice and counsel based on decades of experience.
